On July 20, 2014, Mrs. Delores Whiskeyjack of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 48 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Melvin Stamp; children, Francine Whiskeyjack (Danny White), Renee Whiskeyjack (Jesse Gladue) & Dakota Whiskeyjack; 6 grandchildren, Ava, Dane, Sincere, Keira, Violet & Dastan; mother,Violet Whiskeyjack; siblings, Gilbert Whiskeyjack, Darryl Whiskeyjack, Albertine (Brian) Makokis, Dulcia Whiskeyjack & Sylvia Whiskeyjack (Lawrence Hunter); numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her father, John; an infant child; 3 brothers, Eddie, Ronald & Ronnie; sister, Elaine Whiskeyjack; niece, Janelle Saskatchewan; paternal grandparents, Felix & Philomene Whiskeyjack; & maternal grandfather, Johnny Gladue. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, July 26 & 27, at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
