Obituary
The sun rose on his birthday and set on his passing. On November 10, 2023, Dayton Brown formerly of Saddle Lake, passed away at the age of 22 years. He is survived by his mother, Andrea Brertton; siblings, Ryder Brown, Ashanti Brertton & Valon Nakogee; paternal grandfather, Karl Brown; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Stone; maternal grandfather, Brian Brertton; maternal grandmother, Lorraine Brertton; special auntie, Muriel Brertton; uncle, AJ McBride; auntie, Kathy Cardinal (James Steinhauer); cousins & friends from Olds, Saddle Lake & Belvedere area; numerous other aunts, uncles and many others who knew & loved him. Dayton was predeceased by his father, Joe Brown; sister, Havana Brertton; brother, Journey Brertton; numerous other family members. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, November 21 & 22 at Onchaminahos School, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Onchaminahos School, Saddle Lake with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
