Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dave’s family. Worked with his parents and had Dave on my school bus for field trips.

From: Barry Montgomery
Relation: From the town of Princeton where we also resided.

We are saddened to read of David’s death and our sincere condolences to David’s parents, his family, and his friends. Barry and Cherie Montgomery

Relation: School Friend

Really sorry to hear the news about Fitz. During our high school years, he was a great friend (and tough soccer opponent – he was always much taller than me so I get a bit of a handicap there). I have fond memories of the entire family from having both his parents as teachers to looking after the family pets during their vacations. In fact, I think a 12 year-old Dave gave me one of my first jobs, covering for him stacking pop bottles at the Happy Hut in Princeton. With a start like that, he must have grown up to be a great guy. Sincere condolences to the family and whatever pets they have.

Relation: Troop Mate at WCLEA

I regret to hear this news. You’ll be never forgotten Fitz.

From: Mr. Fitz aka Stephen
Relation: Father

Our thanks to all of you who remembering Dave, took the time to send condolances. Kathleen and I cherish your comments as we remember our son’s life before the cancer. It is wonderful to read kind thoughts from friends and acquaintances.

From: Dave 'Woodsy' Woods
Relation: Friend and co-worker

I trained as an Alberta Sheriff with Dave and was bunked with him through the training. We were the two Dave’s, I am just learning of his passing and am truly heartbroken. I considered Dave a friend, someone who would be a mutual ear and shoulder to vent to when needed. My heart aches at this news because the world lost a very valuable person.
