Obituary
On May 8, 2019 Mr. Darren Mergl of Edmonton passed away at the age of 40 years. He is survived by his mother, Mary Louise Makokis; biological father, Gerry Proulx; step-father, Glen Morris Cardinal; siblings, Richard (Leonora) Mergl, Roseanne Mergl (Kevin Patterson), Anita Mergl (David Nimisica), Diane Mergl (Brent Desjardin), Gregory Rogucki, Jason Rogucki (Ramona Brand) & Nicole Rogucki; numerous nieces & nephews. Darren was predeceased by his step-father, Edward Wilmer Rogucki; brother, Neal Makokis; maternal grandparents, Harry & Mary Makokis; paternal step-grandparents, Tony & Mary Rogucki. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 4:00 p.m.) & Thursday, May 15 & 16 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Wright will be officiating. Cremation to follow.
