Obituary
On October 10, 2019 Mr. Daniel Bentley of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 56 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Monia; 4 daughers & 3 sons, Laura-Ann Wahsatnow (Ashley), Janet Houle, Hayley Wahsatnow-Houle, Randal McDonald, Sydney-Faye Wahsatnow-Bentley, Thomas Wahsatnow & Ethan Wahsatnow-Bentley; 8 grandchildren; loving mother, Ruth (Russell) Lahti; sister, Jo-Anne (Brad) Stoner; brother, Steven Bentley; numerous nieces & nephews. Daniel was predeceased by his brother, Thomas; & father, Calvin Bentley. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on November 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Ashmont Legion Hall, Ashmont. My parents were friends with Cal and Ruth when I was a little kid. We would often visit them so the adults could play cards. Danny was a teenager then and although I’m sure he would have rather done something else with his time, he let us hang out with him and listen to music. I learned about Kiss and Led Zeppelin because of him. I looked up to him and I have many memories from that time. He was really sweet to me and I think about him from time to time. I’m so sorry that he has passed away and I send my condolences to his family.
