Obituary
On December 26, 2018, Mr. Dan Kachmarchyk of St. Lina passed away at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lorraine; 2 sons, Micheal (Beatrice) of Edson & Darrel (Irene) of Mallaig; daughter, Val of Mallaig; daughter-in-law, Yvette of St. Paul; 10 grandchildren, Krista (Colin), Scott, Mark (Laurel), Mitch, Cody (Amber), Keith, Troy (Leyna), Terry (Nikki), Draydan & Brendan; 7 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Kate, Eden, Kane, Parker, Taylor & Hailey; 2 sisters, Leona (Leonard) Smyl & Sophie (Marcel) Michaud; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Kachmarchyk was predeceased by his son, Greg; grandsons, Trevor & Joseph; parents, Chester & Honorata; brother, Edward. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Lina. Reverend Father Raldy Jhack will be the celebrant. Cremation will follow. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB. T0A 3A1.
