Obituary

On September 15, 2017, Mr. Dale Earnest Francis “mahîkan otawâsimisa” of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 51 years. He is survived by his siblings, Ralph (Cheryl), Dwayne, June Cardinal, Wilfred (Sheila) Doghead, Brenda (Jimmy) Moosewah, David, Alex (Sandy), Cynthia, Sonia (Patrick Heavenfire), Lisa, & Kristine Cardinal; as well as numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. Dale was predeceased by his parents, William David “mahîkan” & Mary Irene; sister, Joanne Steinhauer; 4 nephews, Jason Cardinal, Seth Makokis, Michael Cardinal, & Denny Dion. A Wake will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, September 19 & 20 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. (Leaving Grace Gardens at 2:30 p.m.) A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
