On November 12, 2022, Mr. Cornell Waskahat of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 43 years. He is survived by his children, Caige, Cloey, Colby, Cornell Jr., Cayduis & Cemarus; step-children, Ayisha, Achilles & Arceus Cardinal; 4 sisters & 4 brothers, Veronica Arcand (James Mountain), Patrick Arcand (Tanis), Dale Jr. Arcand, Kassiddie Waskahat (Payton Arcand), Eva Breast (Kevin), Lori Pasquayak (Ryan), Ryan Jackson (Claudia) & Byron Jackson (Sherry); adopted brother, Preston Faithful; grandmothers, Veronica Waskahat & Mary Memnook; mother of his children, Tamara Moocheweines; numerous relatives & friends. Cornell was predeceased by his parents, Fred Sparklingeyes & Judy Arcand; siblings, Leroy Breast & Morgan Sparklingeyes; grandparents, Joe Waskahat & Edgar Sparklingeyes; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles. A Wake will be held on Sunday, November 20 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. Reverend Father Thomas Nguyen will be officiating with interment in Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Frog Lake.
