Obituary
On July 19, 2017, Mr. Christopher Moyah Cross of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 17 years. He is survived by his loving parents, Donald & Sharon Cross; sisters, Stephanie, Cali, Tia, Sandra, Larissa, Kristen, Christa Cara Anne, Christy-Anna, Christiana & Chrissy; brothers, Nathaniel, Tyrel, Edward, Adrian & Christienne; grandparents, Mildred Moyah, Ruby Watchmaker, Rita Moocheweines, Harvey & Joyce Dufresne, Linda (Larry) Isbister, Lena Waskahat, Sarah Moyah, Alma (Albert) Desjarlais & Sophie (Bruce) Stamp; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins; best friend, Jeremy Paul. Christopher was predeceased by his cousins, Mike, Leon & Greg; great-grandmother, Emma Cross. A Wake will be held on Monday & Tuesday, July 24 & 25 at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake. Pastor Wilfred Cross will be officiating with interment in Anglican Church Cemetery, Frog Lake. I would like to let Chris’s family know that we are thinking of them and deeply sorry for their loss. Chris is going to be missed by his sister and family. We didn’t know him well because she is still so young to truly get to know her siblings, but this is something that has been and will remain important to us as she grows up. We are deeply sad she will not be getting that chance with Chris, and hope that later she can get some sense of knowing him. I will remind her of the time we met at the pool and Chris played with her for so long and made her laugh he had great patience that day she was 4 or 5. He lit up when he played with her. Such a handsome young man he had become since the last time I’ve seen him. I just delivered Chrissy to Ontario for her visit with her dad, she will be here until the end of August. After she returns we would like to get the sibling group all together as discussed in September or October. I cannot imagine your pain, just know we care and are thinking of you. And Chrissy loved her brother.
