On January 26, 2017, Mr. Chavez “Chev” Tanner Boysis-McGilvery of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 24 years. He is survived by the mother of his children, Nikole Moses; 2 children, C-Jay Boysis & Landyn Moses; mother, Alana Boysis of Pigeon Lake; father, Gordon McGilvery of Saddle Lake; siblings, Steve Boysis, Bianka Boysis, Tashaundre Boysis-Laman, Tiara Dillion-McGilvery, Mercedes McGilvery, Maryann McGilvery & Jordyn Cardinal; grandparents, Jennie McGilvery “Momom” & Gladys Boysis; numerous aunties & uncles from Saddle Lake, Samson, Pigeon Lake, Little Pine, Poundmaker, SK, Kehewin, Beaver Lake, Nelson, BC, Winnipeg, MB, & Elizabeth Settlement. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Howard McGilvery “Moomoo” & Benjamin Crier; great-grandparents, Josephine Frank, Harry Chatsis, Moses & Celestine Cardinal, Sam & Mary-Louise McGilvery; sister, Kristine Papin; brother, Bradley Shirt; & infant brother, Brody McGilvery-Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Thursday & Friday, February 2 & 3 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
