On October 4, 2018, Mr. Charlie Daniel “Josh” Houle of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 56 years. He is survived by his 4 children, Stacey Morningchild, Daniel Morningchild, Rosanna Houle & Dustin Morningchild; 9 grandchildren, Damien Boucher, Dezmond Morningchild, Jayde Morningchild, Jonathan Houle, Kaydence Morningchild, Jeanette Houle, Brodie Houle, Ash Lee Morningchild & Kayne Morningchild; siblings, Linda Burns (Norman), Anna, Caroline, George (Cherrilene), Felix, Mary Jane, Florence (Daniel), Doris (Kelly) Bonneau & Myrtle; aunties, Rosalie, Myrtle Sr. & Louisa Collins; his dog, Bandit; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Tyler Morningchild; granddaughter, Christyn Dawn; parents, Charlie & Martha; siblings, Roseanna & Steve; nephew, Calvin; mother of his children, Lena Morningchild. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Sunday, October 13 & 14 at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. My heartfelt sympathies on the loss of Josh..aka “George Jones” I always enjoyed listening to him sing. He was my right hand man with the first street dance in St. Paul and I will always remember how he sang for the hutterites in the meat cooler at 4 am when we had to go pick up the pig for the Wild Pink Yonder Cancer fundraiser..he always had a smile on his face, shared positive encouraging words and I will cherish the friendship we had. May his spirit live on in your hearts and memories..I know he will in mine.
