Obituary
On September 21, 2019 Charles “Chuck” Steinhauer of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 41 years. He is survived by his loving children, Angel Rose, Alayna, Aaliyah & Alicia, & their mother, Crystal Boakye; children, Cashton, Violet & Cecile, & their mother, Cote Berland; siblings, Brenda Steinhauer, Leslie Steinhauer (Rita), Colleen Steinhauer, Fran (Clarence) Ward, August (Tamara) Steinhauer, Everett Steinhauer & Jordan “Jo-Jo” Steinhauer; adopted sister, Irma Cardinal; kokom, Florence Yaholinsky; aunties & uncles, Lillian Youngchief, Alvina (Willard) Steinhauer, Lorraine (Joseph) Amahoose, Lydia Half, Denise Giant, Henry Giant, Josephine “Bunny” Walker, Robert Steinhauer, Henry & Angelic Steinhauer, Joe & Olive Steinhauer, Bruce Steinhauer, Arthur (Verna) Steinhauer, Charlotte (Fabian) Large & Dwayne Steinhauer; numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. Charles was predeceased by his parents, Reverend Floyd & Marlene Steinhauer; infant son, Marcus; maternal grandparents, Joshua & Sophie Giant; paternal grandparents, John & Mary “Minnie” Steinhauer; maternal great-grandparents, Julian & Antoinette Moses; paternal great-grandparents, Augustine & Charlotte Steinhauer; uncles, Donald, Jerry, Raymond, Dennis & Wilfred Steinhauer, & Gordon Youngchief; auntie, Mary Bernice (Harold) Brereton; brother-in-law, Wayne Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 4:00 p.m.) & Thursday, September 25 & 26 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
