Obituary
On September 19, 2013, Mrs. Cecile Plouffe of Elk Point, formerly of St. Paul, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years. She is survived by 4 sons & 4 daughters, Agnes Blanchette of Valemount, B.C., Lucy Beloin of Edmonton, Andy (Susan) of Calgary, Yvonne Saeger of St. Paul, Roland (Terry) of Rich Valley, Louise Baker of Edmonton, Leonard (Leona) of Medicine Hat & Armand (Liz) of Fort St. John, B.C.; 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 4 brothers & 4 sisters, Paul-Emile of St. Paul, Laurent of Prince George, B.C., Rene (Rea) of Edmonton, Arthur (Laurette) of St. Paul, Bertha of Prince George, B.C., Therese Carrier & Rita Jean both of St. Paul & Helen Berbenak of St. Albert; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gerard; father, Xiste in 1987; mother, Blandine in 1982; 2 brothers, Octave in 1986 & Amedee in 1981; 2 sisters, Eva in 1969 & Lillian in 1983; granddaughter, Lisa Blanchette; great-great-grandson, Justice Blanchette; 4 sons-in-law, Eugene, George, Joe & Brian. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul.
