Obituary
On December 12, 2012, Mrs. Caroline Hunter of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 77 years. She is survived by 6 daughters & 1 son, June Hunter, Russell (Evelyn) Hunter, Louise (Leonard) Moosewah, Myra (Ben) Houle, Leona Hunter, Noella (Bradley) Sparklingeyes & Lucille Hunter (Victor Breast); granddaughter she raised, Kelly Hunter; all her godchildren; many foster children; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 5 sisters & 4 brothers, Florence (Carl) Quinn, John, Charlie (Gloria), George (Cecilia), Clifford (Delores), Edna Houle, Leona (Fernando) Pietrobono, Marina Rideout & Eva (Tom) Ziegenbein; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Miles; infant sister, Julia; brother, James; grandson, Lenny; parents, Joe & Rosie Cardinal; nieces & nephews. A Wake was held on Saturday, December 15 at Miles & Caroline’s house, Goodfish Lake, and on Sunday, December 16 at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. Eulogy and Viewing was held on Monday, December 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mathias Roman Catholic Church, Goodfish Lake. Reverend Father Real Levasseur was the celebrant, with interment in Goodfish Lake Community Cemetery, Goodfish Lake. To send condolences online, please visit
