CHERNIWCHAN, Brian
On October 29, 2012, Mr. Brian Cherniwchan of Smoky Lake lost his battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 58 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Penny; son, Aaron; sisters, Deloyce (Ron) Kusick, Patricia (Gary) Larkin & Gail (Merlin) Knudsen; brother, Darrell (Tammy); sister-in-law, Ava Cherniwchan; brother-in-law, Donald Tkachuk; & numerous nieces & nephews. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Nick & Jean; brother, Ken; sister, Audrey; & 2 infant brothers, Leonard & Blair. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Smoky Lake Agricultural Complex in Smoky Lake, followed by a luncheon. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's Cancer Support Society c/o 5626-51 St., St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. To send condolences online, please visit
