Obituary
On July 21, 2019 Mrs. Beryl Richardson of Okotoks passed away at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred of 54 years; 2 sons, Darren (Sharon) & Darcy (Brigid); brother, Bobby Johnson; special niece, Debbie; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Richardson was predeceased by her parents, Beryle & Anne Johnson; sister, Roseanne Rowe; daughter in infancy, Tammy-Lynn. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Beryl’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 14 at 1:00pm at St. Albert United Church, St. Albert. To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.

I’ve known Beryl for only 3+ years since I moved into Sheep River House in OKotoks. We spent many hours chatting either in the common room or her suite about the many ways to care for different plants. She became the official staging /decorator for most of our social functions and did such a good job. I was so honoured that she trusted me with many deep hearted, personal conversations. We laughed together, challenged political views and, yes, we cried together. I miss her dearly! The picture I chose was her one of her favourites of me because I dared to be on a motorcycle…and she couldn’t see me being that “brave”

Sorry to hear the passing of Beryl. Your family was so generous with your time and love towards my family growing up. I have fond memories of all of you. I will remember Beryl as a caring person, she always is smiling in my thoughts. From time to time I crave her chili (which is weird because I am not a huge chili fan, but I liked the way she made it )
My memories of my childhood always contain Richardson adventures
