Blanch, Owen, Evan, Fern, Laurel, Heather & families, we were extremely saddened to hear of Bernie’s passing. We have so many happy memories of times spent with all of you whether it was at a dine and dance at Sugden, enjoying visits at the farm (especially those aggravation games right Blanch) or just meeting up in general at a family gathering. Grandpa. I wish I was able to see you and get one last hug. Spending time with you and grandma on the farm or even in St.Paul was some of my funnest childhood memories. I loved going to the neighbours with you grandpa, or walking out to the mailbox together. May not seem fun to most kids now, but going to the Co-op and sitting with you and your friends having coffee will always be a fond memory for me. Since we moved to our acreage and had our first live Christmas tree, I was reminded of the many live trees you would get for grandma. Such love you had for grandma. Remember the time we went in the truck, up and down roads looking for the prefect tree to plant out the front window on the farm? I can’t remember how long we were out for, but we got a great tree, dug it up, brought it home, and planted it. You named it the Tannele tree. As soon as spring comes, I am going to plant a tree and call it Grandpa. 💙 I told grandma she should sleep with your rainbow blanket. One day to, I hope to sleep with your rainbow blankie. I will miss you deeply, as so many will grandpa. I love you. Much love and god bless.
