Obituary
On May 18, 2019, Mr. Bernie Marchand of Mallaig passed away at the age of 81 years. He is survived by 2 daughters & 3 sons, Darlene McGillis, James McGillis, Gil Dumais, Duane Dumais (Rose McKenzie) & Lisa (James) Montgomery; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Philip (Barb) Marchand, Terry (Mike) Peterson, Real Marchand & Dianne (Gordon) Playter; numerous nieces & nephews. Bernie was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine; parents, Hector & Blanche Marchand; sister, Paulette (Bernard) Ouellette; sister-in-law, Evelyn Marchand. A private Celebration of Life to take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
