On June 16, 2022, Mr. Bernard Malo of Edmonton, formerly of St. Paul passed away at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his 3 loving children & their spouses, Henri & Sheryl Malo, Claire & Randy Reich and Normand & Tonya Malo; 6 grandchildren & their partners, Justin Huget & Larissa McNabb-Baker, Renee Reich, Shawn Malo & Cass Goodman, Ian Reich & Jensen Gwozdz, Courtney Malo & Adam Ruebsaat Trott, & Jared Malo; mother of his children, Jacqueline DeMoissac; special family from Japan, Akiko, Kazuhiko & Momoko Hama; siblings, Gilberte Gill, Yvonne Lafreniere, Maurice Malo & Denis Gouin; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Malo, Yvonne Malo & Carmen Gouin; numerous & loved nieces & nephews. Bernard was predeceased by his parents, Oscar & Julienne Malo; 3 sisters & their spouses, Antoinette (Lucien) Charbonneau, Therese (Florent) Brien & Leona (Rudolph) Cote; 3 brothers, Victor, Andre & Henry; 2 brothers-in-law, Albert Gill & Raymond Lafreniere; sister-in-law, Louise Malo. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul (Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m.). Reverend Father Marvin Tanquerido will be officiating with interment in St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lafond. Bernie was one of a kind! He was a great person and we always had a lot of fun with him in Jamaica and on the fire dept. Our life would not have been complete if we had not known Bernie. Rest in peace my friend!
