On April 5, 2019, Mr. Ben Curtis Ivan Whiskeyjack of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 43 years. He is survived by his loving mother, Doreen Whiskeyjack; special friend, Sheena Giant; children, Brooke Whiskeyjack & Tyrese Whiskeyjack; siblings, Charmaine (Gary) Whiskeyjack, Christine (Percy) Whiskeyjack, Valerie (Perry) Whiskeyjack, Bella (Maynard) Whiskeyjack, Dennis (Shannon) Dedul & Trudy (Roger) Whiskeyjack. Ben was predeceased by his father, Ben William Whiskeyjack; paternal grandparents, James & Martha Whiskeyjack; maternal grandparents, Morris & Agnes Cardinal; 2 nephews, Waylon Jackson & Freespirit Stanley-Dedul. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Sunday, April 13 & 14 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
