Obituary
On November 23, 2015, Mr. Basil “Bill” Tocheniuk of Vilna passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his children, Coleen Green (Larry Kavanaugh) of Spruce Grove, Daryl (Kathy) & Kent (Leili) both of Edmonton, Lyle Zacharuk & Lori Zacharuk (Colin McKinnon) both of Kamloops, B.C; daughter-in-law, Sandee Tocheniuk of Edmonton; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Tony, Mary Goryniuk & Orest (Susan) all of Smoky Lake, Joyce (Tom) Medvid-Compo of St. Albert, George (Donna) & Victoria (Dave) Chmilar both of Edmonton; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria; son, Basil Wayne; parents, Harry & Annie. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Vilna Cultural Centre, Vilna. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie will be officiating, with interment in St. Paraskevia Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Downing.
