Obituary
On March 18, 2020, Mrs. Aurore Rose Michaud (nee Dechaine) of St. Paul passed away at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her 4 sons & 4 daughters, Yvon (Carmel) of Mallaig, Jocelyn (Diane) of St. Paul, Doris (Randy) Weidl of St. Paul, Gerald (Darlene) of St. Paul, Roger (Angie) of St. Paul, Carmen (Larry) Piquette of St. Vincent, Roxanne Michaud of St. Paul & Janet (Marcel) Melanson of Hazelton, B.C.; 29 grandchildren, Renée, Francis, Daniel, Chantal, Dean, Janelle, Bernard, Justin, Joël, Nicholas, Adam, Aimee, Gabriel, Désirée, Renita, Mario, Matthew, George, Alex, Christine, Veronica, Curtis, Arianne, Colin, Ryan, Danica, Amber, Daniella & Dominique; 38 great-grandchildren; 11 siblings; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Georges; grandson, Adrien Michaud; brother, Paul Dechaine; sister, Marcella Gascon. A Private Funeral Service will be held with interment in St. Jean de Brebeuf Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mallaig. A Celebration of Aurore’s Life will be held at a later date.
