Obituary
On July 21, 2014, Arthur Mykyte of Westlock, formerly of Weasel Creek/Thorhild, passed away at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Maureen; 3 sons, Dale (Debbie) of Houston, Texas, Kim (Marlene) of Weasel Creek/Waskatenau & Gary (Philine) of Thorhild; grandchildren, Dustin, Alex (Tara), Candice (Kevin), Christy-Ann (Rhys), Courtney (Ryan), Kyle (Jessica) Stephen (Kaitlin), Johanna, Sean & Blake; 5 great-grandchildren, Emily, Cole, Abby, Taylor & Parker; brothers, Ernie (Dianne) of Osoyoos, B.C. & Larry (Ruth) of Redwater; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Sandy & Nancy; sister, Madeline; brother, John. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Thorhild Community Centre, Thorhild. Reverend Father Peter Haugen will be officiating. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Northern Alberta Kidney Foundation c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. We are saddened at the loss of a truly good man. Barrie remembers being the best man at your wedding, although he says Art was clearly the best man! Over the years we have maintained our friendship and we have always treasured that. Your family has been blessed to have such a wonderful legacy that you and Art have left them. Family is forever.
