Obituary
On April 9, 2016, Antonia Gozjolko of Elk Point passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years. She is lovingly survived by her 2 daughters, Vivian (Andy) Smereka of Elk Point & Debbie (Earl) Schmermund of Edmonton; 5 grandchildren, Darcy (Colleen), Todd, Andrea (John), Brad & Ryan; 2 great-grandchildren, Jillian & Jessica; 3 sisters, Mary Vogel, Josie Zarowny & Emily (Bill) Petraschuk. She was predeceased by her husband, John (2012); parents, Nikolai & Katherina Flasha; sister, Annie Hladchuk. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Pioneer Circle Elk Point Seniors Centre, Elk Point. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating with interment in Elk Point East Cemetery, Elk Point. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
