Obituary
On September 4, 2012, Mrs. Anne Palinka of St. Paul passed away at the age of 95 years. She is survived by her daughter, Audrey (Lawrence) Faucher of St. Paul; son, Eugene (Denise) Palinka of St. Paul; 6 grandchildren, Debbie (Jason) Bodano, Lori (Kevin) Mackay, David (Margarita) Faucher, Douglas (Sheri) Faucher, Sandy (Darcy) Hodge & Brian (Mandy) Palinka; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 brothers & 2 sisters, Joseph Yewchin of Surrey, B.C., Olga (Robert) Dowling of Jasper, Stella Brockhouse of Vernon, B.C. & Roman (Sue) Jewczy of Waterloo, Ont.; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry; parents, Theodora & Sam Yewchin; brother, Allen. Divine Liturgy & Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, St. Paul. Reverend Father Mark Sych officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to St. Paul Palliative Care Association c/o Box 1780, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A0. I am extending my herartfelt sympathy to the family of Mrs Ann Palinka on behalf of my mother and myself. Anne was always very kind and gracious to my mother, herhusband and her would pick my mother up to attend church at St. Paul. When Harry passed away we visited Anne at Sunnyside Lodge several times with my mother Mary Yaceyko. I told my mother about Anne’s passing and she is very saddened but she is unable to write her condolences.She said she will pray for her soul and will remember the times past. May God Bless you all and may your mother’s soul rest in peace.
