On March 10, 2017, Mrs. Anne Ference of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 98 years. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Pat (Wes), Donna (Barry) & Joan (Dale); 8 grandchildren, Medley, Krystle (Ryan), Mark (Dana), Jessica, Justin (Linda), Jared (Natalie), Chantel (Corey) & Savannah (Pat); 8 great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Emily, William, Autumn, Farrah, Kaylee, Preston & Wesley. She was predeceased by her husband, Nick in 1985; parents, John & Eva Holup; siblings, Bill, Bertha, Maggie, Mary, Jessie, Rose, John, Paul, Peter & Jack. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Volodymyr & Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, Smoky Lake. Very Reverend Father Don Bodnar will be officiating, with interment in St. Onufry’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Smoky Lake. If desired, donations may be made to Sts.
