Obituary
On May 7, 2017 Mrs. Anne Bobocel of Vilna passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years. Anne is survived by her loving family, Lillian Sabo, Denis (Debbie), Jeannette (Bernard) Chung, Karen (Nick) Toma, Ronald & Debbie (Jack) Nichols; 9 grandchildren, Brad (Jeanne), Lori (Aaron), Julianne, Natalie (Ty), Andrea (Richard), Tyler, Nicholas, Andrew & Molly (Cooper); 6 great-grandchildren, Nigel, Tristan, Austin, Kennadie, Lukasz & Mackenzie; brother, Alex Rebinski; 1 brother-in-law; 3 sisters-in-law; numerous nieces & nephews. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Steve in 2004; daughter, Betty in 1953; son-in-law, Arthur Sabo in 2013; parents, John & Ewdokia Rebinski; 5 brothers, Harry, Walter, Steve, John & Mike; 2 sisters, Jean Taylor & Sophia Podloski. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Vilna Cultural Centre, Vilna. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie will be officiating, with interment in St. Paraskevia Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Downing. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30s or Smoky Lake Palliative Care c/o 5626 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
