Obituary
On July 10, 2016 Mrs. Anna Wattamaniuk of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 92 years. She is survived by 3 sons & 3 daughters, Walter (Pam), Robert (Marlene), Leonard (Margarida), Sylvia (Gordon) Starchuk, Gladys (Wayne) Pirnak & Diana; friend, Roy Waine; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, John Mykytiuk; & nephew, Jerry. She was predeceased by her husband, John; parents, Nick & Anna Mykytiuk, & Wasyl & Annie Halisky; also, sister, Lucy. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pokrova Orthodox Church, Edwand. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie will be officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. I extend my deepest condolences to The Wattamaniuk family & Roy, on the passing of Anna. Anna was a wonderful lady who leaves a legacy of love. I was very blessed to have been one of her caregivers at the lodge. I will treasure all the wonderful conversations & laughs we shared threw out the years of her living at the lodge. She had a heart of gold. Rest in peace Anna.
