Obituary
On January 10, 2015, Mrs. Amelia Jasinsky of Elk Point passed away at the age of 70 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Dennis; son, Denis Jasinsky of Banff; daughter, Jennifer (Ken) Rutherford of Lloydminster, SK; 6 grandchildren, Anna, K.C., Alexandria, Victoria, Joseph & Theo; siblings, Ollie (Jack) Woolard, Alice (Harry) Krawchuk, Victoria (Ernie) Cardinal, Florence (Dan) Senko & Al (Chris) Pankow; father-in-law, William Jasinsky; brother-in-law, Dwayne Jasinsky; sister-in-law, Linda (Bob) Morgan; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, John & Rose Pankow; nephew, Robert Krawchuk; & mother-in-law, Eva Jasinsky. A Memorial Service was held on Friday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre, Elk Point, with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Inurnment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Edmonton will follow at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) or Elk Point Palliative Care c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. The years truly move by quickly, as it was only yesterday and we all cousins would get together on the farms and visit our Aunts & Uncles and go to school together in Elk Point. At this time we are sending the families of Amelia our condolences of their loss. She truly was a beautiful person inside & out, in spirit & love and her smile proves it, thus we will always miss her. Through the grace of God may all who grieve of her loss know that through her faith God has prepared a place for her. May God be with you all at this time.
