Obituary
On June 22, 2014, Mr. Alvin Head of Saddle Lake, formerly of James Smith Reserve, Saskatchewan, passed away at the age of 68 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; 6 sons, Stewart (Beverly), Christian, Carmen (Charlene), Dory (Loretta), Rick & special son, Hughie; 4 daughters, Barb (Jeremiah), Tracy (Nolan), Terri (Chris) & Christie (Mike); 32 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Maria, Hazel (Dave), Irene & Olive (Chris); spiritual parents, Oliver & Eliza Brertton. He was predeceased by his parents, Roderick & Betsy; brothers, Jimmy & Paul; sister, Mariam; & 3 great-grandchildren. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. The Wake will be continued on Thursday & Friday, June 26 & 27 at James Smith Reserve, Saskatchewan. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. at James Smith Reserve, Saskatchewan.
