Obituary

On June 3, 2019, Mr. Alphonse Amable of Cold Lake First Nations passed away, one day before his 75th birthday. He is survived by his daughter, Rodena (Alan) Scanie; 9 stepchildren; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Anne (Rod) Charland, Evelyn (Claude) Desjarlais, Susan Evans, Jenny Piche, Noella Amable & Melanie Matchatis; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Alphonse was predeceased by his wife, Bernice; parents, Victor & Monique; 2 brothers, Sylvester & Gordon; sister, Mary Piche; & brother-in-law, William Evans. A Wake will be held on Monday, June 10 at the Spiritual Centre, Cold Lake First Nations (procession arriving at 1:00 p.m.). Last Respects to begin on Tuesday, June 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Spiritual Centre, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake First Nations. Reverend Father Joji Boyapati will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Raphael Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cold Lake First Nations.
