On October 31, 2017, Allison McGilvery of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 43 years. She is survived by her common-law spouse of 19 years, Jeremy Quinney; 7 children, Darian Quinney, Laikken McGilvery, Alissa McGilvery, Jeremiah Quinney, Keara (David) Quinney, Samuel (Lennea) McGilvery & Heather (Bugzy) McGilvery; 5 grandchildren, Riley Elin, Mia Bella Joy, Darren Axel, Conner Eli “Handsome Man” & Harlow Faith “Silly Billy”; Godson, Trayton (Katana) McGilvery; her mother & stepfather, Irene & Henry Steinhauer; brother, Johnathon (Louisa) McGilvery; sister, Patricia (Wesley) Northwest McGilvery; stepsister, Chrissy Ann (Dusty) McGilvery; stepbrother, Carl Steinhauer; 2 aunts, Florence (Larsen) Cardinal & Lorna (Leonard) McGilvery; 3 uncles, Floyd Cardinal, Glen Cardinal & Ferlin McGilvery; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles. Allison was predeceased by an infant son, Raven Quinney; her Dad, Darcy Cardinal; brothers, Darren & Merle McGilvery; stepbrother, Stacy Steinhauer; cousin, Clinton “Gainers” Cardinal; maternal grandparents, Martha & Wayne Houle; paternal grandparents, Fred & Eliza Cardinal; grandfathers, Percy “Daddah” (Evelyn) McGilvery & Howard McGilvery; great-grandparents, Sam & Mary Louise McGilvery. A Wake will be held on Sunday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Monday, November 12 & 13 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
