Obituary
On August 30, 2014, Mr. “Roy” Alexander Whiskeyjack of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 41 years. He is survived by his loving children, Matthew (Kim), Trent (Bailey), Justin, & Lil Alex; granddaughter, Shalayah Lena Janet Jayde; his loving parents, Alex & Helen; sister, Cynthia (Winston) Lapatak; 3 brothers, Ricky (Tracey), Jason (Mary) & Conrad (Mavis); numerous nieces & nephews; his loving companion, Stacy Crane; 3 step-daughters, Kiandra, Ariel & Cara; step-son, Aaron; in-laws, Ralph & Edith Wahsatnow; godson, Francis Whiskeyjack. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Janet Christine Whiskeyjack; sister, Christina Abraham; paternal grandparents, Joshua & Matilda Whiskeyjack; maternal grandparents, Mary Anne Abraham & Angus Stanley; brother, Darrell Joseph Moosewah. A Wake will be held on Thursday & Friday, September 4 & 5 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
