CARDINAL, Aleda
On December 18, 2017, Mrs. Aleda Nadeen Claira Cardinal of Edmonton, formerly of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 43 years. She is survived by her common-law spouse, Dale Collins; 3 daughters & 4 sons, Raylene Cardinal (Austin Halfe), Raylynn Jackson (Lee Cardinal), Raychelle Jackson, Francis Cardinal, Frank Jackson, Frandall “Deets” Jackson & Frandon “Chubby” Jackson; 3 grandchildren, Zaraya & Zarayla Jackson & Brian Halfe; father of her children, Rayburn Jackson; godson, Francis Whiskeyjack; loving parents, Alex & Mary Cardinal; siblings, Jeff Quinney (Ginny Cardinal), Henry, Lenny (Kylie), Charles (Carrie), Craig, Beverly (Leon Moosewah), Tanya (Joel Littlechild) & Janelle Steinhauer (Ryan Whitford); adopted brother, Mark (Shannon) Fitzgerald of Arizona; special uncle, Ronnie (Beatrice) Quinney; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Clinton; paternal grandparents, Erastus & Claire Cardinal; maternal grandparents, Henry & Caroline Quinney. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (Leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Thursday, December 27 & 28 at at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
