Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and mémère, Albina Gagné of St. Paul on August 11, 2018, at the age of 89 years. She is survived by 6 daughters & 2 sons, Denise (Laurence) Ference, Dianne (Roy) Paquette, Lorraine (Real) Labrie, Doris (Doug) Redmond, Rita (Ed) Bulger, Terry (Guy) Gagné, Bob (Denise) Gagné & Len (Tamara) Gagné; daughter-in-law, Leona Gagné. Also left to mourn mémère are her 26 grandchildren & 26 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Irène Lafrenière, Helen Fontaine, Jeanne Hamel & Germaine Hébert; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel; sons, Léo & Roger; parents, Francis & Annette Robinson; sisters, Alma Robinson & Henriette Poulin; brothers, Lionel & Eugene Robinson. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 15 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Martin Jubinville & Reverend Father Mario Jubinville will be the celebrants, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. Mme Albina was truly a most exceptional person. My sincere condolences go out to her children, her sons and daughters-in-law, to her many grandchildren and to her great-grandchildren. I will always have fond childhood memories of Mme Albina’s very giving heart and her “joie de vivre!” May she rest in peace and may your fond memories of her, always bring a smile to your heart.
