CHRIST IS IN OUR MIDST!
Dear Lesia & family;
It was with profound sadness that I learned of the repose in the Lord of your beloved Adolph. On behalf of all the faithful of our Parishes in the Archdiocese and my unworthy self, our most prayerful condolences, sincerest sympathies and loving thoughts during this most difficult time. May Christ-God – who grants Adolph eternal rest – also Bless you with solace in your grief, peace in your hearts, a comfortin presence and enduring hope.
As I recall Adolph’s service and stewardship in the Holy Orthodox Church and his dedication to St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Orthodox Sobor Parish in Elk Point in particular, I am reminded of the words…”well done good and faithful servant.”
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” (2 Timothy 4: 7 & 8)
