On July 18, 2026, Walter Kostrub of Boyne Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Hazel; sister, Sophie Kwasnycia; sisters-in-law, Jenny, Shirley, Pat & Janet; numerous nieces & nephews. Walter was predeceased by his parents, John & Pearl (nee Melenka); brothers, Mike, Billy, George, Teddy, Percy, Metro, Johnny, Andrew & Baby Harry; sisters, Dora Pacholek & Helen Nichols. A Memorial Dinner will be held on Friday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Hall, St. Paul. Cremation has taken place.
