Violet E. Mcfadyen

On September 28, 2011, Mrs. Violet E. McFadyen of Elk Point passed away at the age of 95 years. She is survived by her loving children, Myrna (Bill) Fox of Elk Point & Malcolm (Marjorie) McFadyen of Bonnyville; daughter-in-law, Chris McFadyen of Elk Point; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; special friends, Raymond & Norma Hansen of Edmonton. Violet was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; son, Barrie; great-granddaughter, Tammy; parents, James & Susan Barnett; brother, Robert; sisters, Olive & Marjorie. Visitation of Family & Friends will be held on Tuesday, October 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre, Elk Point. Reverend Anne McGrath & Reverend Harold Imes officiating with interment in Elk Point East Cemetery, Elk Point.
