On May 22, 2012, Mrs. Velma Jackson of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 54 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Doug Toner; 2 daughters & 1 son, Deanna (Cameron) Delver of Saddle Lake, Peter (Tanya) Quinney of Frog Lake & Carrie Quinney of Saddle Lake; 15 grandchildren; 5 brothers & 1 sister, Peter (Theresa) Jackson & Cameron Jackson both of Saddle Lake, Horace Jr. (Norma) Jackson of Frog Lake, Linda Jackson of Hay River, N.W.T., Harvey (Dale) Jackson & Howie Jackson both of Saddle Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Horace & Genevieve; brother, Ken; grandson, Cameron Delver Jr.; 3 sisters, Beatrice, Beverly & Joyce. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, May 26 & 27 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
