On October 23, 2025, Syrai Autumn Rain Singer of Frog Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 23 years. She is survived by her daughters, Faylynn & Trucen; adopted parents, Chief Greg (Bonita) Desjarlais; siblings, Demaise, Keelan, Gabriella “Deserai”, Dayzhana, Amaris & Avayo; kokums, Mary Ellen Singer & Marie Abraham; moshum, Charlie Singer; numerous aunties, uncles & other relatives. Syrai was predeceased by her parents, Laurelle Singer & Edward Fryingpan Jr.; chapans, William & Sarah Singer. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, October 29 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Thursday, October 30 at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake.
