On October 11, 2012, Mr. Stewart Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 51 years. He is survived by his special friend, Melody Chief; son, Owen Stanley (Tavia Chief) of Frog Lake; adoptive children, Trent Chief, Trayson Chief, Trevor Chief, Travis Chief, Tanita Arcand, Rhea Stanley & Dawn Anderson; numerous grandchildren; adopted mother, Nancy H. Cardinal of Saddle Lake; 6 brothers, Buddy Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Wayne Burnstick, Brent Burnstick, Kurt Burnstick & Adolph Burnstick all of Alexander & Randy Whitford of Edmonton; 6 sisters, Sheila Cardinal (Dirk) of Saddle Lake, Cheryl Cardinal of Lloydminster, Marie Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Loretta Burnstick of Alexander, Muriel Cardinal of Saddle Lake & Kay Half of Edmonton; aunts, Mary Half, Flora Jackson & Lucille Hackett. Also, Stewart was a father, grandfather, uncle & friend to many people. He was predeceased by his parents, Jim & Philomen Cardinal; step-mother, Margaret Burnstick; sisters, Audrey Cardinal, Patricia Cardinal, Denise Burnstick & Ernestine Quinney; brothers, Ronald Cardinal, Joseph Cardinal & Gary Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Wednesday & Thursday, October 17 & 18 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father R.
