On March 7, 2026, Mr. Steve Syroid of St. Paul, Alberta formerly of Spedden, Alberta passed away at the age of 99 years. He is survived by his 4 daughters, Mary Jane (Dave) Tkachyk, Judy Ann Syroid, Georgina (Kelly) Charlton & Val (Rick) Katerenchuk; 6 grandchildren, Ashly (Matt), Shanisse (Kirby), Kelsey (Larissa), Wyatt, Jessica & Alyson; 3 great-grandchildren, Clancy, Miles & Celeste. He was predeceased by his wife, Olga; son, Bill; parents, William & Ksenia Syroid; siblings, Tillie, Katie & Peter. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Peter Haugen will be officiating with interment in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Spedden.
