Our family is deeply saddened to share the loss of Stanley Bochon, cherished father, grandfather and great-grandfather who passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025 at the age of 91 in Lacombe, Alberta with his son by his side.
Born on June 29,1934 to John and Mary Bochon in Myrnam, Alberta and little brother to sister Annie. Stanley grew up on the family farm and attended a one room schoolhouse in Slawa, finishing his education in Myrnam school. With the responsibility of a young family, Stanley began his working life as an egg grader and retired as the franchise owner of Beaver Lumber in St. Paul, Alberta. Stanley had an exemplary work ethic regardless of the task and his reputation was respected for his knowledge and expertise of the building material industry.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Warren (Sandy), Wanda, Marcia (Paul) and his beloved best friend, Caesar; 3 granddaughters, Michelle, Amy and Amber; and 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Stanley was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Bochon; sister and brother-in-law, Annie (John) Semeniuk; and the mother of his children, Steva Bochon.
To pay final respects, a viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 4 between 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, 5626- 51 Street, St. Paul, immediately followed by a Graveside Service at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Myrnam, with Reverend Father Peter Haugen officiating
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Royal Oak and the Lacombe hospital for the compassionate care provided to Dad. Thank you.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts and memories.
