On September 1, 2025, Sherri Lee Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 44 years. She is survived by her children, Electra Large & Fearless Flight; mother, Cindy Cardinal; Step-dad, Shane Logan; brothers, Jessie Logan, Kale Logan & Brent Huppie; sisters, Amelia Makokis, Colleen Cardinal, Candace Hiscock, Jodie Sierzycki, Shauna Lapatak, Tammy Mahigan, Jamie Budgell, Jasmine Whiskeyjack, Crystal Wildcat & Martina Quinney; grandmother, Mary Anne Redcrow; aunt, Lisa Cardinal; uncle, Jeremy (Jamie) Hunter; traditional aunts, Roxanne Cutknife, Mona Cardinal, Anita Cardinal & Mary Jane Cardinal; great-aunt, Joyce Stamp; nieces & nephews, Cassidy, Sassha, Bethany, Jorja, Brendan, Anthony, Joshua & Myles. A Wake will be held on Sunday, September 7 (Leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Monday, September 8 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Traditional Funeral Service led by Elders will be held on Tuesday, September 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
