Rose Hrycun Obituary

On August 19, 2026, Rose Hrycun formerly of Newbrook, Alberta, passed away at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her children, Pat (Roger) Charbonneau, Linda (Randy) Ewaskow, Evelyn (Steven) Fedyniak, Maxine (Don) Bos, Garry (Susan) Hrycun, Robert (Sharon) Hrycun & Kim (Regan) Herrmann; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandson; 2 sisters, Emily Ollikka & Helen Hayden; numerous nieces & nephews. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Walter; brothers, John, Nick, Fred, Mike, Anton & Bill; sisters, Pauline, Mary & Eva. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Newbrook Community Hall, Newbrook. Reverend Father Mark Sych will be officiating with interment in Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Darling. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Darling c/o 5626 - 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
