Roland Dion

On September 27, 2026, Mr. Roland Dion of Kehewin, Alberta, passed away at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Florence; children, Drayton (Denise), Candace, Tina & Terrace Dion, Michelle (Andy) Bellegarde & Patricia Trottier-Schweigert (Marlo); numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Ruth); sister-in-law, Arlene Dion; numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. Roland was predeceased by his parents, William “Billy” & Sara Dion; daughter, Laurie Dion; 2 granddaughters, Janice Jackson & Charmaine Watchmaker; grandson, Darren Large; 4 brothers & 5 sisters, Benny, Peter, Maggie, Florence, Rose Anna, George, Madeleine, Alice & James; 2 siblings in infancy, Allan & Theresa; mother of his Dion children, Helen Desjarlais. A Wake will be held on Thursday, October 1 (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Friday, October 2 at Kehewin New School Gym, Kehewin. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kehewin New School Gym, Kehewin. Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil will be officiating with interment in Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kehewin.
