On December 4, 2011, Rita Quinney of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 68 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Austin; 5 sons & 1 daughter, Thomas Quinney, Alfred Quinney, William Quinney, Raymond (Marion) Quinney, Clarence Whitford & Mitilda (Danniel) Brertton; daughter-in-law, Jodie Quinney; 27 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers & 7 sisters, John Brertton, Leon Moosewah, Mike (Bella) Moosewah, Jackie (Betty) Moosewah, Vince (Rose Ann) Moosewah, Bertha (Roland) Jackson, Cora (Glen) Houle, Eva (Dennis) Cardinal, Margareth Moosewah, Linda Moosewah, Cindy Moosewah & Delia (George) Brertton; 2 uncles, Louis (Gloria) & Eli (Mary); 4 aunties, Florence, Eva, Lillian & Eva Favel. She was predeceased by her daughter, Connie; 2 sons, Wilfred & Tony; parents, Joe & Mitilda; brothers & sisters, Bella Favel, Denise Brighteyes, Christine Moosewah, Harold Moosewah, Vidor Moosewah, Emile Brertton, Lindsay Brertton, Tony Brertton, Vera Large & Dennis Moosewah. A Wake will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, December 6 & 7 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
