On May 11, 2012, Mr. Phillip Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Eleysa; 5 sons, Allen (Stephanie) Jackson, Jamie Cardinal, Fabian Cardinal, Adrian Cardinal & Shane Cardinal; 4 daughters, Helen Cryer, Janice Cryer, Emily Cryer & Deanna Cardinal; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Joe L. Cardinal & Clarence R. (Marjorie) Cardinal; 3 sisters, Angie (Victor) Brertton-Cardinal, Alice Gladue & Irene (Brian) Mahingan. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert & Mary; son, Melton; brothers, Stanley & Alec; sister, Gladys. A Wake will be held on Thursday & Friday, May 17 & 18 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Interment at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
