On October 27, 2011, Mr. Peter Horhut passed away at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his special friends & cousins, Mike (Rose) Sawchuk of Waskatenau; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael & Anastasia; 2 sisters, Anne & Olga; 3 brothers, Nick, John & Steve. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Descent of The Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Waskatenau. Reverend Father Stanislav Bjeli will be officiating with interment in the Church Cemetery, Waskatenau. If desired, donations may be made to Smoky Lake Continuing Care Centre or Descent of The Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery Fund c/o Box 1780, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A0.
