On October 8, 2025, Peggy Joyce White of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 65 years. She is survived by her sons, Terrence (Jennifer) Wood & Barry Wood; grandchildren, Janessa Wood, Jeren Wood, Cody Jackson, Devon Whiskeyjack, Alicia Whiskeyjack & Keanu Brertton; siblings, Shirley (Wilfred) Whiskeyjack, Rosina Stamp, Melvin Stamp, Joey Stamp, Jonas White, Eric White & all of her Willier siblings; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Barry Wood Sr.; son, Dustin Wood; grandson, Phoenix Stone; brother, Brian Stamp; mother, Mary Rose Stamp; stepdad, Leonard Stamp; cousin, Keith Stamp; & maternal grandparents, Velma & Michael White. A Wake will be held on Tuesday, October 14 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
